Here is a super simple and easy thing you can do to show your Mail Carrier how much you appreciate them, especially during the Holidays when they have their heaviest workload…leave a little treat in the mailbox for your mailman to say thank you, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays!
OMG!!! I am having the best time leaving little treats out for our Delivery Drivers!
I may or may not check it every day to see what they’ve taken (Confession – I TOTALLY do!)
I honestly think I am having more fun with it than they are!! Actually, I KNOW I am!!
Since that is giving me so much joy, I thought why not keep this “Giving Train” going!
Next stop…The Mail Carrier!
Here is another super simple and easy thing you can do to show your Mail Carrier how much you appreciate them, especially during the Holidays when they have their heaviest workload!
Step #1 – Get the Goods
Buy a few boxes/bags of M&Ms from the store…see, step 1 is so easy…and inexpensive!!
Step #2 – Tag the Goods
Grab this printable (click the image to download the pdf) and print it.
(I used cardstock to make it a little thicker)
Step #3 – Jazz up the Goods
Cut out the tag and attach it to the M&M’s with ribbon or tulle.
Step #4 – Place the Goods
Place the gift in your mailbox for your Mail Carrier to see when he/she delivers your mail!
Funny enough, our mailman left it in there a few days not realizing it was for him!!
But then after 2 days, we went to check, and it was gone, and in its place was this note!! (Can I get an “awwwww”?)
It seriously made my day that we did something so simple that was appreciated so much…I wish I had started this years ago!
When I was a kid, I never really got the saying “it’s better to give than receive” because heck receiving was the BEST PART of Christmas back then, but now I really understand!
Up next on my docket is figuring out something special for our trash collectors… I’ll keep you posted when I figure out what I’m going to do!!
Got any great ideas to share with me to say “Happy Holidays” to our waste management workers?
Until next time, cheers to spreading MORE holiday cheer and cheers to you!!
XOXO,
Magan
